    Up for sale are Square Adjustable Length Tubes made out of Clear PVC (Poly vinyl chloride - a Polymer)
    , sold in lots of 3 tubes, so if you choose a quantity of 1, that is 1 lot of 3 tubes. The Inside Diameter of the tube is .63". The length is adjustable from 4.725" to 7.875". I use them to ship fountain pens worldwide. The pen goes in the inner tube with a bit of tissue paper crumpled up at the end, then I add the outer tube with a bit of tissue paper at the end of it and adjust the length to snug up the pen. The inner tube has tiny bumps on two of its edges. The outer tube has tiny ridges near the opening on all four corners. When the two halves are pushed together, they 'lock' in place, requiring a bit of effort to pull them apart, as well as to put them together.
    I ship my pens in this tube in a small bubble wrap type envelope all over the world. I have used well over 1000 of them, and have never had a damage complaint. They are very light (each tube is about 1/2 an ounce), so I can ship a pen via First Class Mail to anywhere in the world, as long as it is 13 ounces or less. My pens are usually just a few ounces.
    This tube could be used for numerous other items that don't exceed the Inside Diameter or Length. I like the fact that the tube is clear. It doesn't have to be taken apart to see what's inside. As a final reminder, the tubes will ship as sets - the top two items in the photo. In other words, one complete tube is made up of an inner and an outer tube. I am selling them in lots of 3, so you'll get 3 inners and 3 outers for every lot you order. The second item in the picture is the recommended maximum extended length. The third item in the picture shows an inner and outer tube fully collapsed - the shortest usable length. The last item in the photo is an example of what one of my pens looks like ready for shipping. Oh, and the tubes are reusable!
