    (1899–1947) Vintage 6X1.5 clipped signature from a piece of possibly hotel stationary from San Francisco signed in fountain pen ink; "Alphonse Capone." A fabulous example of his signature. This is a no-brainer genuine example obtained in person by Charles Geer Jr. Comes from the famous Charles Geer Jr estate. Also comes with a copy of the original page which he signed twice. Offered here is the lower signature. Alphonse Gabriel "Al" Capone was an American gangster who attained fame during the Prohibition era as the co-founder and boss of the Chicago Outfit. His seven-year reign as crime boss ended when he was 33 years old. Comes with a full Letter of Authenticity from Todd Mueller Authentics.
