Amazing large RED CLIFF vintage covered soup tureen w/ underplate & ladle Grapes

Let me start by saying that this set is solid and heavy. It is stunning! It is from RED CLIFF in white ironstone with an embossed grape pattern. The tureen measures 11" tall and is octagonal in shape. The handles have a grape motif. It is 11 " across the opening and 12" from handle to handle/ The platter is 12 3/4" across, handle to handle and 10 1/4" across without the handles. The tureen itself without the cover is 8." There is a yellow roughened area on the underside of the ladle, etiology unknown. It is a great piece for the center of your dining table or buffet, super for your summer Sangria or your fall and winter soups.
