Antique Enameled Sterling Silver Thimble w/ Gold Stars & Stone Top
Germany * Circa mid 1900s
This elegantly beautiful silver thimble has enameled sides of pale yellow that have been overlaid with four burnished gold stars. A delicate engine turned guilloche design is engraved in the silver and shows through the translucent enamel. Above the rim it is marked "Sterling" and "Germany".
The top is set with a dimpled amber colored glass. The condition is excellent, in round with no holes, dents or repairs. The enamel and stone top are both near perfect with no damage. It's inside is gilded. Some patina present. Sold as is as pictured.
