Antique Short & Mason Mahogany Barograph Stormograph London

Up for bid is this mahogany cased English barograph. This Stormograph was found on local estate sale. Mahogany case is sound, no cracks, splits or loose parts. All glass panels are beveled. I was told that the clock mechanism needs cleaning, when you remove it from the base and shake it, it runs for about a minute, then slows down and stops. I am not a clock maker or specialist in these instruments, so cannot confirm the condition of the clock mechanism. In the drawer below the base there are two more blank charts, instruction of use and 1998 edition of Wind and Weather catalogue, where similar English barograph is listed at 50.00. The instruction leaflet is somewhat damaged by the bookworms. Also present is the small vial with ink, even has about half a vial of ink and a wick to place it in barograph nozzle.
