ntique Waite Thresher Sterling Silver Thimble size 7 No holes c 1900's.    Thimble features a  beautiful pattern of arches or abstract anthemion at the bottom of a two-band design.
This thimble stamped inside the apex with
the "star"
logo for the Waite Thresher Company,
"Sterling",
and
also
s
tamped
size 7
.
It
measures 3/4" (1.9 cm) by  9
/16" (1.4 cm)
.
Very nice old thimble in
good condition with some age and wear, with no holes. Similar
thimbles a
re
shown on p. 124 (plate 37-7) of Gay Ann Rogers' book "American Silver Thimbles".
