The Avantco EG24N electric countertop griddle allows operators to prepare various foods in a compact, 24" footprint.
Whether you're cooking pancakes, burgers, grilled cheese, or scrambled eggs, this heavy-duty stainless steel griddle provides the durability and performance you need to get the job done. The 1/2" thick steel cooking surface heats evenly throughout for consistent cooking results, no matter where you place food on the griddle plate. And, with overheat protection and power on / heating indicator lights, this griddle is as safe to use as it is powerful and effective.
3" Splash Guards
The 3" splash guards on the sides and back of the griddle protect the user and surrounding walls from hot grease and oil splatters.
Adjustable Legs
The stainless steel legs that come with this griddle are adjustable from 3 1/2" to 5 1/2" to provide stability on any surface.
Removable Grease Tray
A channel along the front of the griddle plate collects grease and directs it into the removable grease tray. When it's time to clean up, the tray can be removed and emptied quickly.
Dual Thermostatic Controls
The dual thermostatic controls allow you to adjust the temperature to suit the cooking requirements of different foods. This prevents you from burning one product while another finishes cooking.

How do I prepare my grill for first-time use?
In order to protect the plates of your new grill during transportation, a layer of food-safe oil was coated on the surface and covered with a sheet of wax paper prior to shipment. This is harmless, but must be removed before you begin to use. To remove, peel off the protective wax paper, and then preheat the grill until the oil liquifies. Next, carefully wipe away the melted oil with a clean, soft cloth. Once all of the oil is removed you can begin to use your grill.
