    BIOGRAPHY
Connie King, an accomplished artist for more than 30 years, is experienced in painting, drawing and illustration. The subject matter varies from children at play, figures in repose, action figures, lovely floral studies and her most recent passion, plein air landscapes.
Working in oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolors her mastery of composition, color and technique, blend together her creative ideas to generate excitement, spontaneity, and romance in all of her work.
A prolific artist, Connie King is inspired by her Southern California surroundings as well as her feelings about her latest trip. From Monet’s Garden to the Pueblo’s of Santa Fe or a favorite Portuguese fishing village, it’s little wonder that her work appeals to such a diverse audience. Mrs. Norton Simon, Ed Mac Mahon, Connie Stevens, the late President Lyndon B. Johnson, Cary Grant, and J. Edgar Hoover are some of the many prominent figures who collect and enjoy her work. Her corporate clients include The Four Seasons Hotel in Newport Beach, CA, The McDonnell-Douglass Corporation, The Hyatt Grand Champion Resort, Indian Wells, CA and The Ritz Carlton in Dana Point, CA.
Connie King’s talent emerged early on and was nurtured through fine arts studies at the University of Colorado, The Art Center School of Design in Pasadena, CA and Otis-Parsons Art Institute in Los Angeles.
