EARLY PEARLWARE FEATHER EDGE SAUCE/ GRAVY BOAT

Description

Here we have a very hard to find piece of feather edge in the form of a sauce boat. This piece is about 7 1/4" long, 3 1/2" wide and 4" tall. It is a nice early unmarked piece with lots of character (manufacturing flaws, kiln debris etc.). There are no manufacturer's markings.
Condition is pretty good for a piece of this age. There is a 1/4" long shallow chip on the inside of the rim also a tiny nick on that same edge. At the spout there is a long, shallow chip that is nearly 1 1/4" long. These chips have allowed some discoloration to occur. None of this damage is apparent when looking at the outside of the piece.
A rare opportunity to obtain a neat piece of feather edge. This will be a nice addition to your collection.
