Factory Restored Tascam 238 Syncaset 8 Track CASSETTE Original Manual Rack Mount

Here is a vintage Tascam 238 8 track cassette recorder. Included is the original manual and rack mount ears.
I bought this late in 2022 from a tascam refurbish retailer and it came with a 1 year warranty that expired 9/23/2023.
The unit was lightly used in my home studio with a Tascam m-1516 mixer (mixer not included).
I originally bought this out of nostalgia. It was never really intended to be my main recorder - because of this, it was rarely turned on and sat in my rack.
The unit works perfectly and will be a great addition to your studio. I'm only selling because I am retired (old) and needing "less". This will be a great opportunity for someone looking for one of these.
The unit came to me with scratches, as seen in the photos. This obviously doesn't affect the performance, but I want to mention it.
Please look at all photos carefully they are an important part of this item's description. The last pic is my home studio desk - you can see the 238 at the bottom left rack of the desk (desk rack, not the sidecar). It was fully hooked up and functional - very cool.
