    I purchased this
    X-15, Series II
    back in the 80s. At the time it was the greatest thing to make quality multi-track cassette recordings. It’s been stored for years and now needs a new home.
    The recorder comes with original Foster power supply, a Foster MN-50 mixer/compressor, four strand-input RCA jack cable for the mixer, two Foster punch in/out foot bulbs and original manuals for the X-15 and the MN-50.
    There is no battery box or strap.
    The addition of the
    MN-50
    (aka “the drum crusher”) to this package is MAJOR.
    It really expands your ability to record multiple sources at the same time
    plus add compression. The MN-50 runs on a 9V battery.
    The recorder powers up and all functions (play, rewind, etc.) work, but like many of these old X-15s some of the meter LEDs are burned out. See picture 12 to show the functioning LEDs.
