AMERICAN PATTERN ( LINE NO. 2056)
was produced by
FOSTORIA GLASS CO.  AMERICAN
was introduced in the year of 1915 and it was still in production during the eighties before the
FOSTORIA
.
doors were closed forever.  Since its beginnings,
AMERICAN
has remained a favorite, if not the most popular glass pattern sought after by glass collectors everywhere.  Here I am presenting a gorgeous
fruit bowl
.  The bowl has three toes.  It has a unique triangular style shape  with three distinctive corners and with straight sides.  The bowl has a diameter of aprox. 11 inches.
