Fostoria American Round 10 " Cake Stand (glued)

We are offering a Fostoria American Round Cake Stand. The stand is 10 inches across and 6 5/8 inches tall. The base is 5 1/2 inches across. The piece weighs over 5 pounds!!! Fostoria made the American pattern for a long time. This cake stand was one of the later pieces as the base has been glued. It has not discolored when looking at the entire piece but if you look closely where is is attached it has a discoloration. The center of the piece is a star pattern and does has a depression but I would not call it is rum well. The base shows 3 seams but I cannot see the seams on the platter. The piece has no scratches from use and it is free of chips, cracks, fleabites or scratches. It is a lovely piece. Please understand that we include shipping in our price and the piece is heavy.
