    FRENCH VINTAGE FOIE GRAS PATE CROCK ~ LIONS~ANTIQUE YELLOW WARE TERRINE TUREEN
    Here is a small, heavy, yellow ware French covered crock or terrine that was
    used to sell and serve pate foie gras
    .  These days they are often repurposed as
    butter or jam servers
    .  This one is in excellent condition. Pot is a creamy yellow with an
    embossed knob on the lid.  The
    sides are enhanced with lion heads.
    Stamped on the underside is “Le Cachet Terrine” and the number 14.  Measures 4” in diameter and 2 3/4” tall.
