Vintage, mid-century Gorham large oval serving serving platter in "Royal Contessa" pattern, a soft white (not stark white) with bronze-ish gold trim. It measures approximately 16" end to end and 12 1/4" wide--big enough for a small turkey. It is in very good condition, with no nicks or cracks. It does have some slight scratches on the gold band in a few spots (see the photo as an example of one), probably from utensils, but they don't detract from the elegant look of the piece. It has a high luster otherwise, and couldn't have been used much since it still has the paper sticker on the back. This is a large, solid, attractive piece with a stylish look that goes well with lots of different patterns. See our other listings for more vintage china pieces.
