If a print can make you thankful for strides made in harvesting, this one can.
This print is a wonderful depiction of life; when a days work started early and ended late. The days were long, and the cotton rows were longer. Backaches and raw hands were just part of the days work. One gets a real sense of this when looking at this artwork.
The myriad of colors range from stark white of the cotton to the dark browns of the barn and cotton stalks. The skys depict soft blues and lavenders as well whites, which leaves to the imagination exactly what time of the day the laborers are pickin'.
The overall dimensions are 25" x 9"; the artwork measures 24" x 8". This print is in perfect condition, and it has never been framed.
