John Severson "Roaring Right" Limited Edition print, signed by the artist in 2003, numbered 5/300.  This was purchased directly from the artist in Lahaina, HI, in 2003 and is slightly smaller in size than the Roaring Right prints currently on his website, surferart.com. The total size is 19 X 13, the actual image is 15-1/2 X 11-1/2.  The current limited edition prints of Roaring Right on his website are a 24 X 16 for 0, and a 30 X 20 for 0.
John Severson was interviewed about this painting, and said "Roaring Right a breakthrough.  After a career in oils and graphics, I wrestled with watercolor.  I let forms fly and mix, sweeping by the whites, letting the water have its way.  The resulting mix is a spontaneous relationship with the medium, where I paint like I surf.  I love a big right slide, tropical palms, and water for water."
The print was taken carefully out of its frame, where it had been stored in an air conditioned home out of direct light with archival glass.  The colors are excellent.  The print is in a mat, attached only at the top with archival tape, and resting on a piece of foam core.  The new owner may wish to replace the mat, but right now it's being used to protect the print.  It will be carefully mailed,  flat, between more foam core for protection, to the winning bidder.  I only ship to the U.S.
Please note:  I am a private seller/collector and bought this item new, stored it carefully in non-smoking home.
