TASCAM Portastudio users, this box generates a sync stripe to track 4 with an external time code that will sync perfectly with any of your outboard MIDI gear. This frees you to program your drums on an SR-16 or any MIDI device, then record that sync signal only to Track 4, which has the unique ability to record and playback the sync track to any MIDI outboard gear, like stereo drums, which are brought into the TASCAM through channels 5-6 or 7-8 on the 424 series. Add keyboards and any other MIDI instrument. AND you can change the MIDI parameters at any time, before mixdown.
