Porcelain Floral Decorated Porcelain Small 6" Lidded Tureen

This listing is for
a lovely small porcelain small lidded tureen with hand painted floral decoration and a molded fruit attached to the top as the handle. The base of the tureen has a slightly scalloped shape with a tab handle on each end. The tureen has a dome shaped lid with cut-outs on each end that fit around the tab handles. The lid also has a slight scalloped shape matching the shape of the base. Both pieces are beautifully decorated with assorted flowers and are embellished with gilding. The base is marked with an illegible maker's trademark and some printed numbers.
Measures 2 1/8" high (to sides of base), about 4 1/2" high (including fruit handle) with the base measuring 6" long and 4 1/2" wide. Weighs just under 1 pound.
This nice tureen is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. The colors are crisp with no wear to the gilding.
