Famed American aviation pioneer AMELIA EARHART, gorgeous and RARE full signature as "Amelia Earhart" signed in graphite on a small cut adhered to a larger photo. Earhart typically signed as "A. Earhart", full signatures are highly desirable. Provenance note on the reverse of the photo reads "At national editorial association dinner on Navy Pier, San Diego, 1936. Picture taken by Thomas Murphy. Autograph acquired by Mrs. Murphy." Earhart signed the paper just one year before she would tragically disappear in the Pacific Ocean.
