RARE VINTAGE BAROMETER Cherry Frame Brass Edge British & American Made 17" 1950

Description

Up for sale is a large size, vintage barometer, made of beautiful tiered reddish colored cherry wood frame. The barometer has a raised or rounded glass case with clear dials and a brass surround. There is a large brass ring at the top giving the appearance of a large clock. It hangs by a toggle hook set into the back of the barometer (see last photo). To my knowledge, it is in working order, but may need calibration.
A very handsome, substantial piece, British and American made as indicated by the dual patent dates.

Condition: some discoloration of brass ring around the dial
