Reviews
1. I have not used this item yet. I have read many reviews on this product complaining about the tips breaking. I’ve used a similar tool and you have to understand the weight of the tool itself and what force you’re exerting on it may cause the tip to break. Especially if you do not keep the tool completely level. Any outward movement will break it.
2. My husband needed this to finish a project he started with his truck. He decided to add air ride to his F150 truck. The whole truck bed was removed and compressors and airbags and a whole bunch of other stuff was added. He needed this to add some nuts to the bed so he could put it all back together. He was pretty amazed at how easy it was to use. The kit comes with the tool and a few different sized rivnuts. My husband is happy with this and he is a man that doesnt normally buy anything other than high quality name brand tools so this has to be a good item!
3. Not really sure what I did without it. We build pressure washing skids where a lot of the access to put nuts and bolts is obstructed by machines, tanks, etc and this makes life so much easier. The only suggestion I have is to add a little loctite to the cap nut on the knob that unscrews the tool from the rivnut. It came off multiple times until I added loctite and cranked it down. It's reverse thread.
