Simons Sterling Silver Sewing Thimble

Description

This thimble was made for Flossy, who resided in Providence, R. I.   Flossy was a member of a prominent family in the city and was the owner of many of the items in our vintage jewelry collection.  This thimble was probably made in the early part of the 1900's.  As you can see from the pictures, Flossy had a dainty hand reflected in the size 4 thimble. Inside is the mark of the Simons company.
