    Description

    Up for sale is this TASCAM Portastudio 414 Mk1 4-Track Analog Cassette Recorder, with its power supply, sold for parts or not working.
    This was a perfectly working unit as shown in the videos but there's a part on the autostop mechanism that keeps coming loose and makes it not play the tape. I tried many times to put it back in place to no avail, I am clearly doing something wrong but don't know what. The part and its location are shown in photos in the auction.
    I have serviced this unit with a new capstan so that common problem is already sorted for you. I just ran out of patience getting that little piece to stay in place, maybe you have better luck.
    It's missing one knob cap on channel 1, other than that, it's in good cosmetic condition.
    I need to add this note due to previous problems. Due to the vintage nature of this item and it being sold as "for parts or not working", I do NOT accept returns, especially related to the operation of this unit or if it breaks a month after received.
