TRUE JASPE ~ FRENCH VINTAGE LG CASSEROLE POT w LID ~ ANTIQUE YELLOW WARE TUREEN
Here is a large covered vintage jaspe glazed casserole
French yellow ware.
It is in
excellent condition
and appears to have never been used.  There are two small glaze flakes on one handle and a dot at the top of the lid knob.   No chips or cracks.  Jaspe patterning in swirls of chocolate brown and green and pale cream against a butterscotch background.  Cream colored interior.  There are some numbers and letters written on the underside that did not wipe off.  Small age-appropriate crazing.
This piece is the largest jaspe of this type I have come across.
Measures 8
” in diameter and is 6
½
” tall.
PS Ebay requires that I state the type of stove to be used

Gas, Electric, or Induction. I do not know.  Perhaps wood burning but that is not a choice?  This is an old piece.  I suggest it be used for serving.   Also suggest hand washing.
