Vintage Blue and White Russian Gzhel Porcelain Tureen Covered Serving Bowl

Description

A blue and white porcelain covered bowl made by Gzhel Porcelain, near Moscow, Russia. The footed bowl is decorated in a floral design. The lid has a center handle, shaped and decorated as a flower. Bowl has blue decorated scalloped rim and four decorated feet. Appears signed by artist. The Gzhel Porcelain double-headed eagle crown mark with the word Gzhel in Cyrillic on the bowl was used beginning 1998 and is used presently. I would place this in the late 90s. It appears never used. No cracks or chips. Bowl with lid measures approx. 6.5" tall x 7.5" wide. Gorgeous piece of Russian porcelain and would fit beautifully in a blue and white theme.

Items are thoroughly cleaned/washed.
