Vintage Fostoria American Round Cake Stand Pedestal w/ Rum Well 10" Glass Salver

Description

This is a beautiful vintage cake stand/pedestal by Fostoria.  It is clear glass.  The measurements are 10" diameter across the top plate, 5 5/8" diameter at base, and almost 7" tall.  It is a substantial piece with thick glass, weighing a little over 5.5 pounds. There is a rum well in the center.  The foot/base has 3 seams, which I've been told is one way to tell if it is Fostoria and not a lookalike brand.  Some people like to turn the stand upside down and use it to serve chips or veggies and dip.  The inverted base does provide a nice size "bowl" for that sort of thing. This cake stand is a really lovely piece-one of those pieces I am tempted to keep for myself.  I feel confident that the buyer will enjoy it.  Please see pictures.

I will only ship to the address provided to me by eBay on the shipping label.  It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the correct address is entered in the "ship to" section of the transaction page at time of payment (not in "message to seller" box and not in separate email after payment).  If buyer desires to change location of delivery after I have shipped, it is up to the buyer to try to arrange that with the carrier and to pay any applicable fees.
