VINTAGE GORHAM GLASS EGG
Striking and lovely vintage Gorham Jane Hutcheson Imperial Glass Egg or Fleur Des Siechles measuring 4-3/4" in size - box measures 4-1/4" square by about 5-1/2" tall. Cased with beautiful enamel flowers, glass is filled with a controlled graduated bubble design and complete with gold tone stand. Introduced with a short production period, the egg itself is Murano glass, and the flowers are finished with gold plated stems and green enamel leaves. Housed in the original box and complete with paperwork as shown, condition is wonderful with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - a hint of storage wear to the box exterior, display wear to the glass egg, and a bit of rubbing to the velvet area where the foot would seat within the box - does not detract. Just a beautiful, hard to find Gorham egg - I believe these are White Lilies - wonderful addition to any collection or display!
