Condition: This unique tureen has been gently preowned over the years & appears to have many more to offer the new owner. In my opinion, this ceramic service ware is in good condition, especially when you consider that a fair estimate of it's age would be around 60 to 70 + years old. This tureen does show some manufacturing flaws/defects. There is a fair amount of peppering (small black spots just under the glaze). I also noticed a small amount of pinholing (small holes in the surface of the ceramic). There are a couple of areas where the glaze is thin causing a barely noticeable yellowing (sick color) as well as rough spots which probably prevented the glaze from adhering in the first place. Finally, there are several flea bites (small nicks) in various spots. I did not notice any chips, cracks, crazing, stains, or signs of repair. Although not flawless, this tureen is still a solid WOW! Please review the pictures so you can visually judge the quality & condition of this treasure for yourself.
