RARE VINTAGE SCHENLEY DISTILLERS Co. 6 MASTERPIECES FAMOUS ARTISTS LITHOGRAPH LOT
These prints are in nice shape for their age; colors are bold and bright after all these years - "prepared by a special process which assures the finest quality reproduction of the authentic colors used in the originals". The special thin vinyl-like sturdy paper on which they are lithographed on is pre-stretched to assure accuracy of color. These 6 prints were part of an art offer by the Schenley Distillers Co., makers of Whisky XL.
They are all in very good to near-excellent shape; some have a little bit of hardly detectable creases, and some have spotting on the back center area; but it doesn't really bleed through to the front. They all have a nice little write up about each artist and their painting on the back. There are no tears or marks on them.
The prints all measure 14"L X 11" W each (which includes the "faux" linen-look "mat" surrounding the art picture itself). Also included is the original write-up sheet about these prints, as well as the original envelope they came in.
This rare vintage print set would make a fine addition to your masterpiece art collection.
