Vintage Spanish-American War Soldier Print by Howard Chandler Christy ca. 1898

Here is a Howard Chandler Christy (American, 1873-1952) framed print of a military figure from the Spanish-American War, circa 1898. This print is one of three watercolor and pencil sketches that he originally did, probably fro Scribner’s magazine. Signed and dated in the plate, lower right-see photos.
Frame measures 10 1/2” x 16 1/2”
CONDITION:
This is most likely in its original, period wood frame, which does have some wear on the black paint. The print itself is in good condition but there is some minor damage to the very top (which you can only see when it is out of its frame). Otherwise, excellent. Nice vivid colors.
