State flag of Nebraska. "THE SEAL OF THE STATE OF NEBRASKA March 1st. 1867" holding a scene of a blacksmith and symbols of farming and transportation. Shows some wear and missing upper right fly end corner. 3' x 5'. With "DEFIANCE" maker's label. Circa 1900. From the Dr. Clarence Rungee Collection (NEW HAVEN INTERNATIONAL WAR FLAG MUSEUM). With inventory document.
